Ever wonder what is behind the scenes of a website? Lots of work! You will be responsible for uploading content to client websites via content management systems, building pages, creating and distributing player facing communications, as well as constructing targeted audiences and offers in support of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate can be trusted, has experience working in an office environment, is tech savvy and welcomes the opportunity to learn a new skill set.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Creating, updating, and publishing website content using an in-house Content Management System (CMS).
  • Creating, updating, and publishing microsites and landing pages using templates and from scratch with HTML and CSS.
  • Auditing and updating website content to ensure it is optimized for SEO.
  • Building and updating email templates using HTML and CSS.
  • Creating targeted audiences, one-time and recurring campaigns, and user journeys using an in-house CRM tool.
  • Sending emails to targeted audiences using StrongMail (StrongView).
  • Deploying account messages, on-site notifications, and phone sales using in-house tools.
  • Creating and issuing offers using in-house Rewards Manager.
  • Maintaining an internal Wiki site housing pertinent team information.
  • Managing work assignments using JIRA.
  • Communicating with key stakeholders from multiple departments ranging in seniority from Junior to Department Heads.
  • Basic data entry and reporting using Excel.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Key Personal Capabilities:

  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in an office environment using a computer with MS Office on a daily basis
  • A strong desire to learn new tasks and the ability to quickly apply learnings to day-to-day projects.
  • A strong attention to details.
  • Passion for email marketing, content, and CRM. Analytics passion would be beneficial too, but we won’t hold it against you.
  • An interest in learning CMS systems such as WordPress/Drupal.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, or other programming languages is not required but is a big plus; Willingness to learn is a must..
  • Motivated individual, comfortable with rapid changes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with emphasis on writing.
  • Knowledge of email marketing and SEO best practices would be a very strong asset, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines all while having a strong attention to detail.
  • Online Gaming knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work variable schedule(s) and on-call as necessary.
